Listen to the silent pleas.

Hey there after a very long break,

I’ve realized no one actually reads this blog but it’s ok. I made this so that I could just release whatever frustrations I have. This is like my online diary. My real one, I don’t know where it is now. I haven’t written in it for so long. I just hope that I manage to bring a smile and let someone take a valuable lesson from this whenever they are just searching for something.

In our world, there are 2 kinds of people. The very vocal ones and the silent ones. You may think all chatter boxers are the vocal ones. That they are vocal about anything and everything. No, that’s not true. Don’t let a person’s cheerful smile, joking nature and outspoken manner fool you. You know sometimes, the chatter boxers maybe the most silent ones, in reality. They may be vocal about their likes and dislikes but their feelings and emotions are buried deep underneath. They are like an iceberg, only 10% of their real  nature is seen, 90% is hidden from view. So don’t ignore them when they talk, they just talk because they want to hide their true closed-off nature from the public. Okay, this is not about all chatter boxers but some.

So, when a person talks listen to their tone, look at their expressions, try to see what lies beneath their eyes. Listen with your heart because they might be begging you to see the real them not the one on the surface and you might be just missing that. Not everyone are comfortable to wear everything on their sleeve and they really don’t want to be a burden to people around them. So, don’t just ignore them and call them annoying. It hurts. It hurts that no one is prepared to break down their walls. Think on why someone gets worked up on some little thing, think why they annoy you so much, those silent pleas may mean something.

I know, right now we are all racing against time for various things. But, in the race against time don’t shred your humanity and compassion. It naturally happens but please don’t do. Let go of all the bad feelings and lend an ear to a fellow human. Don’t overthink stuff but try to be a beacon of light for others. Help them genuinely. Don’t help them with an ulterior motive or to betray them later on. Because that’s the worst you could ever do to them.

Listen with your heart and don’t misunderstand people. Because that’s the biggest fault you could ever do to those closed-off human beings.

Go on, bring a smile to others. Just because they don’t wear their feelings on their sleeve or not cry visible tears, it doesn’t mean that they are fine. Inside their hearts, inside closed rooms- they are curling up and crying. They are wondering why on earth are they like this. Help them out, please.

Yours Always,
